Take It All Back
“Then should not this woman, a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept bound for eighteen long years, be set free on the Sabbath day from what bound her?”
– Luke 13:16 (NIV)
The complete account of the healing of a certain crippled woman as documented in Luke 13:10-17 revealed certain facts:
1. She was a covenant descendant of Abraham yet under demonic affliction.
2. She needed to be called by the Lord to come into her healing. Meaning that if she stayed away from the Lord, the sickness/ affliction would have continued.
3. Hands were laid on her to be delivered and healed.
The lesson in this account remains the need for every born-again child of God to aspire for divine intervention to secure their complete freedom from sickness and/or any form of affliction.
Though the blessing of Abraham remains a covenant promise as stated in Galatians 3:14 – He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.
It is the responsibility of each of us to go to the Lord for an activation of the promise given. Personal prayer, corporate prayer, and laying on of hands of men of proven spiritual positions will guarantee this.
The scripture enjoins us to “Seek the Lord while He may be found”.
James 5:14,15 encourages anyone needing healing to go to the church leadership for a prayer of faith with hands laid on him to be healed of the sickness.
Take time to seek out the Lord today.
It’s time to lay hold and activate all that God has promised.
In Jesus Name I take back all healing, blessings, breakthroughs, and deliverance that God has given me in Christ Jesus. Today, I activate and reactivate the covenant promise I have through Christ’s redeeming blood. I am healed, I am delivered, I am blessed, I live under an open heaven, My life overflows with God’s goodness now and always. Amen.
