Restoration of All Things
‘This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?…
…Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? ‘
– Galatians 3:2,5
What is restoration?
Restoration means the return of a monarch to a throne, a head of state to government, or a regime to power.
By now, I believe you are no longer in doubt about your kingship identity.
The restoration of all things starts with a re-discovery of initial identity and purpose. When we live from the revelation of who we are in God, the struggle for attainments ceases and a confident calmness of assurance evolves.
The problem has been that most times, we ask the wrong questions. We tend to reason, If God’s promise is right, and my experience is not alright, then what is wrong with me?
We almost always tend to focus on what is wrong with us. Our failures, limitations, weaknesses, people’s opinion stare us in the face and we ever so often allow ourselves to be arrested and paralyzed by them.
But the truth is, the solution to our failings is not in inspecting what is wrong, rather, it is in looking beyond them unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.
The question we should be asking is, How can these things be my reality?
It is said, you become what you behold! When we behold the grace of God, we become saved. When we behold the promise of God, we become faith filled. When we focus on what is right in our lives, we become right in many more ways.
When we focus on Jesus, we become more like Him.
The restoration of all things that we so desire is already fully done. Yes! fully done in Christ.
So, the more you put the focus on what Jesus has done for you, the more you put the attention on what Jesus has qualified you for, the more faith springs up within you, miracles break forth and your restoration reality emerges.
Beloved, revelation precedes manifestation, your belief will shape your reality. Jesus endured the crucifixion because he saw beyond the pain. He saw the restoration of mankind. He saw you and I as monarch being returned to the throne.
To experience restoration of all things, you must be fully persuaded about who you are in Christ. Then immerse yourself in teachings of Jesus and His finished work. Make it your priority to listen to the good news preached. There is power in the gospel of Jesus Christ!
