Believers need to learn and be trained to be perceptive. Spiritual insight and perception is a powerful tool to recovery and taking possession. Many experience delays and miss opportunities because they are hesitant.
Hesitation is a sign of an unsure mind, a less than persuaded personality. It is a mind that is doubtful, not very sure of what God is doing that stays back and holds back.
To such a person, much cannot be achieved, but for the mercy of God. In fact, the hesitant according to the bible stand the risk of losing everything as was the case with Lot’s wife.
Gen 19:26 says, “But Lot’s wife looked back as she lingered (hesitated) behind him, and she became a pillar of salt…”.
No wonder Peter in Matthew 19:27 was bold in making a demand of Christ, saying, “…See, we have left everything and followed you without hesitation. What then will we have?”
The boldness to make a demand of heaven follows instant obedience, without doubt or hesitation.
This is only possible on two accounts; first, based on experience, where one knows without a shadow of doubt that God is the One at work. Consistent walk with the Lord to a point that you clearly recognize His Finger.
Secondly, by revelation knowledge; here, as a working of the Holy Ghost, believers discern God’s move and immediately key into it. It is very important that we grow our revelation knowledge to recognize when God is at work.
So many people have missed a “move of the Spirit” because their spiritual eyes are “dim”. Ask the Lord for a fresh touch like he did to the blind man in Mark 8:24 who saw “…men as trees”.
The second touch from the Lord perfected his vision and he could see clearly. May you receive that touch that will allow you see clearly and be a part of what your Great God is doing. Amen!
Dear Heavenly Father, I ask for your divine touch once again. Touch my eyes that I may see and perceive fully. Touch my ears that I may hear clearly, Touch my whole life again and over again. Remove from me every confusion, indecision and fuzziness. I move forward with clear vision this year in Jesus Name. Amen
