Invest In Your Faith
“Have faith in God,” Jesus answered.
– Mark 11:22
” Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase”
– Martin Luther King, Jr.
The conflict between the subject of faith and logical reasoning is as old as man. It makes for a very interesting study too. Daniel speaking about the end time.
in the book of Daniel 12:4 declared prophetically,“… many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.”
You will indeed agree with me that we live in information, data-driven age.
However, Jesus also asked in Luke 18:8, “…when the Son of Man returns, shall he find faith on the earth?”, suggesting that as knowledge increases in the last days, faith may also diminish.
The quest for science and knowledge has really led to amazing innovative feats by man, but all in all, Paul posits that we will always have “partial knowledge”;
“Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely”. (1 Corinthians 13:12)
So despite the many benefits of knowledge, it will not be enough to get men all his answers, neither will it give Him eternal perfection. Faith, on the other hand, works differently.
Jesus said, “If you only have faith in God—this is the absolute truth—you can say to this Mount of Olives, ‘Rise up and fall into the Mediterranean,’ and your command will be obeyed. All that’s required is that you really believe and have no doubt!” (Mark 11:22-23)
Where knowledge and science stop, faith continues…
Are we in the last days? Definitely.
Is knowledge good? Absolutely!
Without faith, it impossible to please God! It does not read, without knowledge… rather it is without faith.
As you acquire more knowledge remember to invest much more in your faith! For though knowledge will get you some natural rewards and benefits, without faith in Christ, there is no access to the life of God(ZOE – Eternal life), supernatural benefits, and eternal rewards.
