Grace Is More Than Enough

“But He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you [My loving-kindness and My mercy are more than enough—always available—regardless of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and shows itself most effectively] in [your] weakness.” Therefore, I will all the more gladly boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ [may completely enfold me and] may dwell in me.”
– 2 Corinthians 12:9 (AMP)

‘However weak we are, however poor, however little our faith, or however small our grace may be, our names are still written on His heart; nor shall we lose our share in Jesus’ love. ‘
– Charles Spurgeon

Bible Reading: 2 Corinthians 12,

Are you reassured that under God’s Grace you are “fully covered”? Paul received a revelation from the Lord while he was going through his “thorn of the flesh” experience.

Right in the middle of his discomfort, the Lord impressed it upon him that His “Grace IS Sufficient…”.

Note that the Lord did not say “My Grace SHOULD BE sufficient…” or “My Grace WILL BE sufficient…” no, He was emphatic, “…my Grace IS sufficient…”.

Right there in the middle of the battle, Grace is at work! God’s grace is released in the exact dose that the believer requires.

It is never released in shortages or little drops. It is never released in a manner that leaves the believer begging for more or augmenting by his own feeble strength and ability. No. God’s grace is enough! Why? Because it is backed by God’s limitless Power. “For my Power is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Cor 12:9).

As long as we act like we are strong enough we will experience a seeming scarcity of grace, but if we will daily acknowledge our weakness and need for the Lord, then we will see Grace perfectly at work all around us.

Just like Paul, I’d rather be “weak” and experience Grace than be haughty and suffer lack.

Embrace God’s grace and cease from the struggle. It is your season for Grace and for Favor.

Thank you for your Grace O Lord! Your amazing, everlasting Grace.
Great is your faithfulness.
I trade my weakness for your strength,
I submit my strength to your Grace,
Your grace is sufficient for me.
May your power be made complete in my life today and always in Jesus’ Name.
