Get The Word

So the word of the Lord grew mightily and prevailed.”
– Acts 19:20 (NKJV)

The Word “prevail” means to win and be triumphant. It connotes the presence of a conflict or a battle with one person exerting enough force to overturn the situation and come out on top. This aptly describes what believers should experience in their daily lives.

We must prevail over the enemy of our soul and every manifestation of his kingdom. Many books have been written on the concept of prevailing, speaking of prevailing faith and prevailing prayer. These words call to a longing deep in our souls.

However, a verse of scripture describes in simple but powerful terms how to prevail. Acts 19:20 (KJV), “So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed’.

The Complete Jewish Bible translation of the same verse reads; Thus the message about the Lord continued in a powerful way to grow in influence.

Beloved, when God’s Word grows mightily (abundantly without hindrance) in your heart and life, you will definitely experience what it means to prevail.

You may fight all you want…you cannot overcome the enemy of our soul, Satan, except by the Word.

Head-knowledge of the Word isn’t enough! Reciting it isn’t all to do! Taking the bible about really makes no difference! Will you prevail in life? Then God’s Word must grow mightily in your heart and life.

The Word is mighty! Yes. However, it must grow powerfully in a willing heart and ready life for its prevailing power to manifest.

Stop chasing shadows! Go for the Word. Chase after Him.
Embrace Him! Love Him! Know Him! Believe Him!

For all you will be in life…all your victories, deliverance, promotions, provisions, advancements, breakthroughs and testimonies are wrapped up in the Word!

The rest is up to you now.
