Forgiven, Saved And Free

Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord will never count against them.”
– Romans 4:8 (NIV)

One of the things Satan hates MOST about true believers is the seeming “partiality” that God has towards us.

Consider that the judgment of God was quick and swift upon the Prince of demons and he was promptly dismissed from his role in Heaven. He then turned his eyes earthwards, unleashing mayhem and chaos upon the earth and bringing many under the bondage of sin, sickness, and death.

But God had a plan…and in this plan, every believer, by the Supernatural and Sovereign working of grace is moved to the place of the cross, a place of the second chance…an opportunity Satan never had!

This is why scriptures like Romans 4:8 will always burn a fiery hot hole in the devil’s heart! It declares for all to hear, “Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord will never count against them.” Hallelujah!

Are you born again?
Have you truly taken your eyes off of your efforts and self-righteousness and trusted in the finished work of the Cross?
Is your peace sourced from Jesus and His Victory on the Cross?
Then you are BLESSED!

This is why Satan is called the “accuser of the Brethren” (Rev 12:10), because he always wants to counter the verse that assures us of our forgiveness.

He constantly reminds us of our past sins, our human frailties, and shortcomings. He cannot stand the fact that Jesus died for us and not for him.

He cannot endure the reality that we are saved by the Obedience of the Son of God to His Father, and not by our efforts! He hates us badly because His faith is sealed forever, while an open door remains for “anyone who believes”!

So next time you feel under the attack of the enemy, taunt and remind him of his sealed fate in hell, and then begin to praise Jesus because you have a place in the Kingdom of God!

Let haters (Satan and his kingdom) continue to hate! We are forgiven, We are saved! We are free!
