Chasing Fantasies

Wisdom Quote:

“It’s a poor workman who blames his tools” Anonymous

A lazy fellow will not seek employment even when very well read nor will he venture at anything because he is avowal to risk. Such sees danger even where none existed. He draws up a different reality in his own head and believes only his own narration.

I once chanced on a conversation about a certain young man from a wealthy family who never worked a day in his adult life, though he had a good degree from one of the best universities in the United Kingdom. He simply saw no need to work at least not with rent-collection from the multi-million investment his father left him and his siblings.

A number of others like him may just not be able to submit to the necessity of answering to someone called ‘Boss’.

The lazy man says there is a lion (or danger) in the marketplace. But why does he say so? “ Because he is a slothful man. Remove his slothfulness, and these imaginary difficulties and dangers will be no more.

He will not go abroad to work in the fields, because he thinks there is a lion in the way; he will not go out into the town for employment, as he fears to be assassinated in the streets!

From both these circumstances he seeks total cessation from activity” says the legendary Adam Clarke.

#Wisdom Key:
Never trust a man who never worked under anyone nor served under anyone but himself!

Wisdom Word:

Proverbs 26:13
The sluggard says, “There is a lion in the road, a fierce lion roaming the streets!”

Wisdom Prayer:
Dear Lord, I declare that all my hard work bring a profit. As I work my land (skill, business, and career) I will have abundant food. I shall not be a chaser of fantasies. Neither I nor my children’s children will ever come into poverty in Jesus’ Name. Amen
